A Kindle question...

I was recently sent a pen drive with a substantial number of books for the kindle with instructions to download the contents of the pen drive to my laptop and from there to my kindle.
I think I have followed the instructions but when I look for the books on my kindle I can't find them. I've run out of ideas as to what to do next so if anyone has any idea a) what I'm talking about (I don't necessarily know what I'm talking about) and b) where the books might be hiding I'd be very grateful.
Then I can send the pen drive back (honest!)!

You've probably transferred them to the wrong file, if you simply dragged and dropped into your Kindle.

*Back from checking on own Kindle*
You need to drag and drop them into the 'documents' file on your Kindle.

    I
do Application and Interview one-to-ones, and also contribute to the
Job Application Workshops. We look at application letters, executive
summaries and interviews, with practical exercises that people really
    appreciate.

The Job Seminars are all sold out, I'm afraid, but Julia is planning some more later on.

A new SLT seminar is available now on 22 May www.tesweekendworkshop32.eventbrite.com, and another is planned for 18 June.

E-mail Julia on advice@tsleducation.com for how to book a meeting with me personally.

    Look forward to seeing you!
