A good book to share with Year 3 children?

Discussion in 'Primary' started by anon333, Apr 26, 2011.

  1. Hi all,
I am going for an interview for my first teaching job and have been asked to share a book with Year 3 children.
I have a few ideas, but has anyone got any good books that you can suggest?
  2. We read The Twits recently, and mine absolutely LOVED it, squeals of laughter and joy! Don't know if that helps or not - not sure I would use it in an interview situation, but thought I'd give you something :)

Any picture book by Ian Beck will go down well.
  4. Thanks for your suggestion :)

My advice, for what it's worth, is a book You enjoy & would enjoy sharing with children. That way you can share your enthusiasm to the observers.
    Best of luck for it!
