A few interview questions!

    Presumably your application showed your absence? If that's the case then they were obviously impressed enough with you to accept this. I always think that a one off longer absence is better than several single days, especially a series of Mondays! If they query the recent asthma problem you could say that it has been caused by the nervousness due to your interview. If they don't ask, don't mention it.
    Again, they know that you've only been doing the job for five months so they won't expect you to know everything. Do mention that you want to learn and are keen to attend any training that is available.
    Make sure that you have some examples of things that you have done in your current job to show that you are the best candidate. Check out the other forums to get ideas of possible interview questions for a TA.
