Platitudes and slogans are not going to get a trade deal done.

Remember - after Brexit the UK will be in an even weaker position than it was before.

Interestingly the number of views on the OP video by Jonathan Pie has nearly tripled in two days.

Keep up the good work those of you who are sharing it. :)

He must be persuading very many Tory voters to switch to Labour.

I wasn't blaming them for anything, if you remember you seemed concerned about why some teachers won't be voting Labour so I posted some suggestions here...

... So either you aren't paying attention or you are trying to your ignore my points and start another argument.

Who has denied their existence? As for it depends, did you read the link? It pretty much says it depends... giving several reasons why.

Naah, you are in denial about the economic incompetence of the Tories. If the media did their job properly then they would be banging on about the national debt for the last 10 years. It has now passed 2 trillion.

If they did that too much, the government might have to cut borrowing.

You can never tell how long it takes for an advertisg campaight to kick in. Do you remember this one?

Sooner or later it occurs to people, just what it is that oppresses them, so they eventually stop voting for it.

I can agree that the Economist informs people. If only more people read it.

Really? Does that explain recent voting patterns and changing behaviours in former command economies... the sort JC would love to emulate?

Obviously not. Austerity is clearly NOT helping the economy. You may think that a financial crash caused by the banks and the bankers can be cured by financially punishing the poorest and most vulnerable members of our society.
    I don't.

Obviously the mainstream media have successfully fed you a line a claptrap.

Whatever gave you that idea? I was asking you a question based on your post not stating my ideological perspective as you'd prefer to think.

You are entitled to your view I want rise to the point he bait, suffice to say I look at the statements provided by the parties and use my knowledge of economic systems to make my judgments but I won't criticise you or others for their obvious reliance on media like Facebook should you and they see fit to use it, surprising though it is that people do.

Following the 2008 recession what do you think it should be greater or less?
