**********

  1. So we all know that ********** is restricted in schools but does that mean we cannot take resources in from home to use? I have got loads of good ideas for my new classroom in Spetember but wondered whether there was any policy which says we cannot use them in school.

  3. You need to check the school policy or the borough policy.
We can not have any ********** stuff displayed in our school, regardless of where it was printed.
There are lots of better sites out there for resources. Have you tried using them first?

  4. I always use primary resources but things such as the wizard cards and the Maths, English posters are great on **********. Is there any other websites which have these sort of things?

  5. There are resources on here.

Do you know why ********** is restricted?
Personally I wouldn't want to support a twice convicted paedophile [IMG]

    Every visit generates income!

  18. I didn't know that and I've downloaded bits from there in the past :-s

  19. Sorry for being thick, but how does clicking on the page or downloading free stuff generate income? Personally I can't stand it as I think every flippin classroom looks the same nowadays (or at least they do in our school, which seems to have a ********** obsession!). I also think their stuff looks quite babyish, especially for KS2.

  20. Advertising revenue provides income. Just by displaying an advert on a site earns money per page view.
So the more page views the more money. Also ********** has a toolbar that tracks your page views and can deliver adverts that are more targetted and more likely to be clicked on.
If you click on an advert on a page then the website will make even more!
To answer the OP, there is nothing really stopping you from printing and taking in ********** resources into school, of course other than your moral standing.
