31 in an infant class? - is it legal?

Discussion in 'Pay and conditions' started by welshwonder, Feb 28, 2012.

  1. i have 30 in my infant class. in a few weeks time (probably before Easter break), i have another reception child starting taking my class size to 31. where do i stand with this as i understand that 30 is the legal maximum?
My HT has not said anything about the class size, just told me that we have a new child attending in a few weeks time when the family's house move goes through
