3 for 2 maths ideas needed please!

Discussion in 'Mathematics' started by emserata, Feb 13, 2011.

  1. I want to do a lesson where the children come up with questions based on which is the best deal e.g. 3 for 2 or 50% off etc. (they are year 6). I am looking for a few to get them started but struggling to come up with any. I was going to then make their own up and get them to act out some 'Del boy style' and film them for the other children to solve. It is a revision session so I want to include as much maths as possible...any ideas (I've been looking after my very active toddler all weekend and my brain is now mush!)
    Many thanks in advance

  2. DM do you need any worksheets this week? Let me send you lots. I have everything you will want this week. If I cant find it I will make it. From the current GCSE syllabus I have at least 50% off them so should be able to help.
