Dear Theo, Having always found a range of solid interview advice on here in the past, I thought I'd come back for a little more (especially as I have a very short time to prepare)! I'm over the moon to have been offered an interview for a Second in department post, particularly as I finished my NQT year last April. I do think I'm very capable of the job as I have a lot of experience behind me which is very relevant to the post, however, I'm keenly aware that I'm likely to be up against more experienced candidates. Any and all advice on how to get this job on the day would be gratefully received. As much as I don't want to get my hopes up as I know I'm punching above my station, I desperately want this job in this school! Many thanks in advance.
