    hi all

Just out of interest- what are your predictions for the Lit questions?

We teach AQA AIC, ACC, R&J and P&C poetry.

    Possibly Gerald, social inequality?
ACC - ignorance and want/redemption/ Fezziwig
    R&J - fate/Friar
    P&C - prelude/London/War photographer?

At my school we teach all the texts as OP - AQA board.

    AIC - Gerald/Mr Birling/Eric - male perspectives in 19th century, privileged greed?
    ACC - The spirits and transformation/Fezziwig - generosity/benevolence
    R&J - Female perspectives/Juliet/Nurse/Juliet/Lady Capulet - maternal relations
    P&C - Memory/Remembrance - Remains (poet laureate?)/The Emigree/Poppies?

    Well I'm awed.
    If it interests anybody-
Not being a lit specialist in the slightest, it is intriguing that when you put this quote side by side with a transcript of yesterday's Shipping News, it is simply not possible to determine which is which.

Poetry - There hasn't been an Armitage poem for a while under power/conflict - Armitage poem has been used by AQA about 2 yrs ago in relationship cluster of poems... just a prediction
