What have you got to look forward to?
    Travel plans?
Things you've never done but are about to do?
    Something else?

And, of course, may your 2018 be the best year yet.

    Yes I have.
Being now 'care-duty-free', husband and I will be taking a long promised holiday to Austria. We've talked about it for years. First planned for our 25th wedding anniversary, but never made it. WE're nearly at our fortieth.

In 2018 - actually in only a few weeks time -we will be enjoying (hopefully!) our first cruise....

And as I won't be paying the excessive charge for Wi-Fi on board, you'll have few, if any, posts from me for 2 weeks!:D

I'm just wishing for continuing good health for me and mine. So many friends and family are not so lucky atm. :(. Planning wine tasting near Avignon and really fancy Puglia too but not got a clear plan for that yet.

We did our big road trip in the US last year. This year I am hoping for minimum change and maximum enjoyment. We have a few nights booked in a dog friendly B&B/pub in North Yorkshire at the end of August. Rock and roll!

Every year I resolve to whittle my sum total of possessions from 72, 814 down to 16.

But every year it ends up being just another of my throwaway statements...

I don't do any resolutions more than about a week away...so this is pointless to me!

And two days later you'll have the fun of your first dose of food poisoning...*

No planning here. Just hoping that every day has something positive in it.

Off to Tenerife in a couple of weeks. Tennis and yoga.

Probably going to the US to see my cousin in the Poconos at the end of February. But could be any time really.

Her Maj loves the sun so I would expect two more holidays in 2018

2017 very nearly ended in tradegy for one member of my family - thankfully it didn't so I'm hoping that particular person has a better year.

Sons wedding in Tokyo in May, tickets booked and excitement growing. We'll be there for 3 weeks in all including peak cherry blossom time. Looking forwards to travelling round and seeing more of the country too.
