2 weeks to go and starting to struggle :(

    Easier said than done, but try and ignore undesirable behaviour (as far as possible) and heap praise on him and the rest of the class for positive behaviour. For example: "Well done Molly, you are sitting so nicely - I wonder if I can spot anyone else who is sitting as beautifully as Molly?" The more children see that doing the right thing will get them attention, the more likely they are to do it instead of playing up (which they know is likely to get them attention, and even if it's negative attention, as your teacher says, that might be better than nothing to some children).
