    any ideas?
  2. Music appreciation type activities- how music changed through the decade. Getting them to listen to different pieces and evaluate. Could link this to dance too?
Get them to research the key events of the 1960's- you could link this to literacy and make their own information text. Research also ticks a few history boxes!
    Timeline of key events- History.
Pop art perhaps and look at a few artists and recreate their work?
Look in more depth at the technological advances made in that era. Link to advertisement and create own adverts perhaps?
Look at the moon landing as you suggested and link to newspaper reports?
    - Don't know if this is what you wanted but here's just a few of my thoughts!
