12 wks pregnant & applying for jobs

Discussion in 'Pregnancy' started by MarieLFloyd, Sep 12, 2012.

  1. If I'm right you don't have to tell your employer until 25 weeks latest. I wouldn't tell them until I had an offer of the job, as they're not meant to discriminate against you due to your pregnancy, but I'm a little synical and it could affect their decisions. Good luck with the application, interview and pregnancy! X

  3. They can't discriminate you on the basis of pregnancy- though it hard one to prove- because of this, legally, you do not have to tell them you are pregnant.... it is up to you though, obviously they wouldn't be happy if you suddenly went off on maternity leave a term after you start so depends on how nice the school is.
