    I think you missed some really important points in your counting video.
    First the actual counting sequence..This is so important for children learning to count as they frequently miss out numbers or mix them up.
    Second, there is the ability to subitise, ie recognise 2 objects as as 2 without needing to count them.
    Third, lining up to count is only one strategy and it doesn't work for counting objects that cannot be seen touched or moved, a really important part of understanding counting. I would cover that before going on to 'counting on' which is quite a complex skill.
    I haven't looked at the other videos so unable to comment.

    Some greats points, thanks for sharing your opinion, I agree with number sequencing it is very important, I like to use a lot of songs & nursery rhymes to help teach the sequencing. Maybe I'll make another video with some of the other strategies that parents may find useful. Thanks for watching ! :)
