I do invigilation (when there are exams!) and have a school ID. Does this count?

Out of interest, do people have “School i.d.”? We don’t.

This is a kind gesture from Morrisons and I applaud them. It may bring several hundred or even several thousand new customers through their doors. But it is a kind gesture nonetheless.
I still find Aldi is cheaper so I probably won't use it.

But it does not apply to sixth form college teachers. I would like to applaud the gesture, but only doing it with one hand at the moment. Not sure why they have excluded us, reinforcing the sector as being the cinderella end of education. Not impressed.

What about colleges/those who work in the community with withdrawn children etc? And online? I could google it, but from the comment above, I'm guessing not. Won't make te obvious comment about teachers only being valued as babysitters; I suppose we shouldn't look a gift horse...

I'm a recent Aldi convert and even with 10% off, Morrison's would be way more expensive, but I agree it is a welcome gesture. My nearest Morrison's is a bit further on from the Aldi I use but I'm not aware of any others local to me.

Lots of schools do as their requirement. Many are expected to wear them in these days of high alert and safeguarding.

    Good luck getting it.
They've had an NHS 10% discount since about April, but when you flash your ID they look at you like you're an alien and deny all knowledge.
And even with 10% off it's more expensive than the other supermarkets!

    Well we used it tonight...

but Morrisons looked like a locusts plague had descended. So much sold out... Stock everywhere...

looks like panic buying is back in fashion.

It’s a kind gesture, but I feel bad taking them up on it. Teachers are in the very enviable position of having ( generally) very secure jobs and have (generally) remained on the same pay. I would only take advantage of the 10% discount if I donated what I had saved into a scheme to support people who are less fortunate.
